Summary Explanation/Background:
This minor change to the penalty section of the ordinance will allow for prosecution by code enforcement for problematic properties against their owners in addition to the current process in which the Broward Sheriff’s office cites individuals for noise violations. This change will expand the opportunity to pursue noise violations for the benefit of our neighborhoods.
