summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

As part of an ongoing effort between the Development Services Department and Code Compliance to reduce nuisance properties, text amendments to §96.26 Public Nuisances have been prepared. The proposed amendments address poorly maintained vacant properties, including vacant undeveloped and vacant demolished properties, which have become blighting influences on the surrounding properties and the City as a whole. Administrative Memo #16-450 provides additional information, including the background on this issue and images of poorly maintained vacant properties.
