Summary Explanation/Background:
The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is preparing the final draft of the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. Included in that plan are seven (7) projects that the City of Pompano Beach commits to working with the Broward MPO, transportation partners, and the public to prepare for programming in the Broward MPO’s Transportation Improvement Program. A resolution from the City of Pompano Beach City Commission stating support for the projects is required for the projects to be included in the final 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. The projects are listed in Exhibit A of the attached resolution.
