Summary Explanation/Background:

The City is completing the Cultural Center Entrance Mosaic Artwork Project approved under the FY 2025 Public Art Annual Plan, Resolution # 2025-33. The City of Pompano Beach is preparing to go into an Agreement with Partwise LLC. (ARTIST) for a period of one (1) year. A Call to Artists was posted January 22, 2025, with a deadline of February 26, 2025. 119 artists submitted applications. At the May 22, 2025 PAC Meeting, the Committee recommended approval of Partwise LLC. (Artist). The Artist will have six (6) months to fabricate the mosaic mural entitled “Floripalmae”. The mosaic mural will be located at the north entrance to the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 Atlantic Blvd.
