The City of Pompano Beach constructed a new water main with a public fire hydrant through the private property of the Palm Yacht & Beach Club to eliminate a dead-end water system. The new connection looped the water system, improving water quality, and pressure and provided for a new public fire hydrant. The conveyed utility easement is a measure to access, protect, operate and maintain the utility infrastructure within the area of installation of the private property in perpetuity.
