Summary:
The applicant is requesting consideration of a rezoning from RM-20 (Multiple-Family Residence 20) zoning within the AOD (Atlantic Boulevard Overlay District) to Planned Development-Infill (PD-I) to develop a 28-unit, 11-story residential building with a mixed-use component. The subject property is 1.135 gross acres (49,452 square feet). The general location is the northeast corner of Briny Avenue and SE 6th Street. If the rezoning of this property is approved, the Applicant will demolish the existing 17-unit building known as the Coral Tides Hotel and construct a new structure that will contain underground parking, a main floor consisting of 878 SF of commercial space and building amenities along with an additional 10 stories of residential development.
