Summary Explanation/Background:

Covenant House Florida, Inc. was approved as part of the CDBG Annual Action Plan by the City Commission for the FY 2016-2017 funding year. The organization provides emergency shelter for, among others, Pompano Beach Homeless Youth, providing essential services and emergency safety net services (healthy food and nutrition, shelter, safety, critical aid and healthcare). The Resolution will approve the required Agreement for the utilization of CDBG Funds for repairs to the facility in the amount of $10,000.
