summary
Summary Explanation/Background:
The developer of the Archi One project, Archi Group, LLC is proposing to install a mural as public art on the north and west walls of the proposed building at the southeast corner of North Federal Highway and NE 2 Street. Archi One is a 99-dwelling unit project with one 7-story building that received site plan approval in April 2024 and is currently in building permit review. The artist's itemized budget totals $82,000, leaving a difference of $168,000 for the total of $250,000. The developer is responsible for the monetary difference prior to building permit approval. Last, Table 155.3709.E.3 states "Public Art shall be required to receive a recommendation by the Public Art Committee and approval from the City Commission." Please note that a presentation was made to the Public Art Committee on October 3, 2024, with a letter of recommendation received from the Committee following the present...
