Summary Explanation/Background:
At the February 14, 2023 Meeting the City Commission approved the dual naming of NW 6th Street “Rev. Dr. Wylie L. Howard Sr Street.” The dual naming of the avenue is bound by NW 23rd Terrace on the west and South Powerline Road (SR 845) on the east. The attached resolution formalizes the dual naming of NW 6th Street and will be provided to Broward County Traffic Engineering so the new street signs can be fabricated and installed.
