Summary Explanation/Background:
The Resolution restricts the sale of all remaining burial plots to City residents as defined in Section 92.01 of the City’s Code and establishes that no more that two (2) plots may be sold to one person. The Public Works Director may authorize the sale of additional lots to any person who has established City residency upon proof of need based upon the number of existing minor children that exceed the purchase limitation. A fee in the amount $295 is established for transfer of cemetery plots to cover the administrative expenses for processing.
