Summary Explanation/Background:

The Utilities Department requests City Commission approval of Task Authorization No. 5 with McCafferty Brinson Consulting, LLC (MBC), as identified in Amendment No. 13284 to Professional Consulting Agreement No. 12573. Task 5 provides construction administration and State Revolving Fund (SRF) compliance services for the Phase 1 Concentrate Disposal Deep Injection Well IW-2, a key component of the Water Facility Plan - Emerging Contaminant Water Treatment Plant Updates.

The construction contract for IW-2 is recommended for award to Youngquist Brothers, Inc. under ITB26-031. Task 5 will provide the engineering oversight and SRF compliance services necessary throughout construction and project completion.
