Summary Explanation/Background:

The City of Pompano Beach has been selected to receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).  The City will use this grant to develop a local Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP) to take a more granular look at roadways in the City and a detailed look at local roads to identify projects and strategies that will reduce the City’s fatality rate.

The total proposed project amount is for $400,000 of which the Federal grant will be 80% or $320,000 and the City’s share will be $80,000.
