Summary Explanation/Background:
The City entered into the original agreement via Resolution 2023-133, and both parties have mutually agreed to extend the original agreement for an additional one-year period. The licensee will provide a bilingual summer camp for youth, ages 4 to 13 utilizing the grassy area north of Beach Pavilion 2 to operate the program. The program will expose the youth to the Spanish language in a natural outdoor environment while they are playing sports and games, making friends and having fun at the beach. The licensee shall pay the City a fee of $3,000 as compensation for the use of the City’s property and services.
