Summary Explanation/Background:

This is an amendment to Resolution 2023-97; Public Transportation Grant Agreement for Construction of Runway 28 Extension and Reconfiguring of Taxiway Echo. This project was determined necessary by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requesting that this matter be addressed as the existing geometry is not in compliance with Safety Standards in accordance with their Advisory Circulars. This amendment is to accept additional grant funds to cover the increased cost of the project.
