Summary Explanation/Background:
This is an Agreement to facilitate an approved plat note amendment for Fire Station 52, which is located on the southeastern corner of SW 27 Avenue and the canal below Atlantic Blvd. The City administratively approved a plat note amendment on March 2, 2021 (see attached). The plat note amendment was to accommodate improvements to the fire station located at 10 SW 27th Avenue. The vacant parcel identified as the Regions Atlantic Plat (PB 178, PG 39-40) was purchased with the intention of locating a portion of the fire station on the parcel. The proposed note amendment restricts the property to 4,000 square feet of Fire Station. The agreement must be signed by the appropriate city officials prior to being executed by county staff and recorded in the public records.
