Summary Explanation/Background:
This is a City-initiated request for a Plat Note Amendment to the PBPF Plat. The subject property is located at 100 SW 3rd Street, which is on the southeast corner of the FEC Railway corridor and SW 3rd Street (Racetrack Road). The plat note amendment is requesting a change in the language from “This plat is restricted to 55,950 sq. ft. of Gov’t office (police facility).” to “This plat is restricted to 140,000 square feet of government facility.” On March 23, 2022 a site plan was approved by the Planning & Zoning Board (see attached D.O. No. 21-12000002). This Plat Note Amendment entitles the expansion of the Pompano Beach Public Safety Complex. The Note Amendment Resolution authorizes staff to sign the Letter of No Objection for this request. Staff has no objection to this request.
