Staff is seeking City Commission approval of an agreement between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the City. The agreement is necessary to accept a State Appropriations Grant in the sum of $950,000.00. Staff requested consideration for this State Appropriation to offset costs associated with proposed improvements on Riverside Drive from Atlantic Boulevard to NE 14 Street Causeway (see Location Map). The State Legislature awarded this grant to the City and gave delegation to the local FDOT office to administer the program and ensure it is applied as intended. The agreement outlines the provisions to be adhered to and staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
