Summary Explanation/Background:

The Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Federation of Public Employees (FOPE) expired on September 30, 2024. The City and the FOPE started negotiations back in February of 2024 and have reached an agreement that includes provisions for an additional holiday, pay grade changes, increased merit, cost of living increases, incentive pay increases for specific licenses and certifications, and an annual stipend for first responder/Utilities personnel.
