Summary Explanation/Background:

Annual inspections and cleanings of the system are required provisions of the permit that ensure state and federal clean water standards are met. This is mandated by the EPA’s Clean Water Act impose monitoring and reporting requirements for stormwater discharge through the City’s NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permit.
