Summary Explanation/Background:

In accordance with Chapter 160.04(F), the Public Art Committee is responsible for submitting an annual report to the City Commission each year at the end of the 12-month term. The report will describe the Committee's accomplishments over the past year, give the status of current projects, provide information on any future plans, and include an inventory of public art in the city.

The FY2023 Annual Plan includes current Public Art Program accomplishments, the status of public art projects in progress, proposals for future projects, an updated inventory, and budget.

The Public Art budget for FY2023 is $286,165.00. There is currently $329,584.00 in Public Art Funds plus $200,000.00 from the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) creating a total of $529,584.00 available for Public Art.

The Public Art Committee and Staff recommend approval of this Resolution to move forward with the FY 2023 Public Art Annual Plan.
