Fire Administration requests authorization for as-needed purchases of medication and EMS supplies/equipment.  Orange County Florida initiated Bids Y19-197-SW for “EMS Medications” and Y17-108A “EMS Equipment and Supplies”. Of the resulting Orange County, Florida contracts, Y19-197A is valid through September 30, 2021, and Y17-108A is valid through June 8, 2021, both with renewals as specified in their respective contracts. Commission approval is requested.

Fiscal impact and source of funding: The estimated $175,000.00/year in as-needed medication, and EMS equipment/supply deliveries will be purchased from budgeted accounts 140-2231-522-52-20 and 140-2231-522-52-52.
