Staff is seeking City Commission approval to enter into a cooperation agreement with the Orange Bowl Committee (OBC) and to receive $1,500,000.00 as a charitable contribution by the OBC for specific improvements at Mitchell Moore Park. The funds will be used to renovate and upgrade mutually agreed upon facilities including a new scoreboard; mid-field bleachers; a pressbox system; field naming recognition; refurbishment of two existing building; new painting; replace shade awnings; and an eight (8) year maintenance program, to name a few. Staff recommends approval.
