Summary Explanation/Background:
The City oversees four (4) routes under the Broward County Transit's Community Shuttle Program: Red, Blue, Green and Orange. All four routes operate five days a week Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are free of charge to the riders.
RFP E-06-20 "Pompano Beach Community Shuttle Services" was issued to obtain proposals to provide Shuttle Services to the City of Pompano Beach. The City Commission approved the ranking order presented by the Selection/Evaluation Committee on April 28, 2020, and City staff negotiated a contract with the highest ranked firm, Limousines of South Florida, Inc.
Limousines of South Florida, Inc. is the current vendor that provides the shuttle service for the City. The Company has provided a list of thirty-five (35) employees who are Pompano Beach residents.
The City of Pompano Beach and Limousine of South Florida, Inc. agree to enter into a new Agreement for a term of five (5) years or less beginning with the date this Agreement is fully executed by both parties. This agreement provides for four new shuttles.
Detailed price formula, payments and invoicing is provided under Section 7 of this Agreement.
