This is a request by Rahil Sanghvi, on behalf of ACG PB, LLC. The subject property is located on the south side of McNab, approximately 1,000 feet west of Federal Hwy. The applicant is requesting the plat note amendment to allow for an 80-room hotel to be developed on the Plat subject property.
The plat note amendment is requesting a change from:
This plat is restricted to 5,000 feet of commercial use. Banks are not permitted without the approval of Board of County Commissioners who shall review and address these uses for increased impacts.

This plat is restricted to 80 hotel rooms.
Also, the Applicant wants to remove a notation, or more specifically a line indicating a 100-foot setback on the Plat stated as follows: “Building Setback Line (O.R. 6424 P. 216).”
This setback notation must be removed from the Plat as the restriction is out-of-date and no longer relevant. The City of Pompano Beach has no objection to removing this notation on the Plat.
The Note Amendment Resolution authorizes staff to sign the Letter of No Objection for this request. Staff recommends approval.
