The Applicant, Damian E. Thomason, of D.E.T. Strategic Consultants, on behalf of Festival Real Estate LLC, is requesting approval of a plat note amendment concerning the Pompano Industrial Park Third Addition Plat. The property is located on the south side of Sample Road, between Powerline Road and the Florida Turnpike and includes 7 Tracts A through G. The original Flea Market structure was platted within Tracts A and B prior to the date the County required square-footage limitations on the Plats; therefore the structure's square footage is being included in this request. These Tracts have land use designations of Commercial and Industrial. The Zoning Designations include B-3 (General Business); B-3/PCI (General Business/Planned Industrial Overlay); OIP/PCI (Office Industrial Park/Planned Industrial Overlay); I-1 (General Industrial); I-1/PCI (General Industrial/ Planned Industrial Overlay).

The original plat note was amended on October 11, 2000 with the following Plat Note: "This plat is restricted to 182,312 square feet of commercial use on Tract C and 165,000 square feet of Industrial use on Tract D. Any structure within this Plat must comply with Section D.1.f., Development Review Requirements, of the Broward County Land Use Plan regarding hazards to air navigation."
