summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

This is a request concerning Aloha 1 Flex Allocation to approve a Resolution rescinding the prior Resolution # 2019-243 passed on July 23, 2019 and accepting a revised Resolution in order to replace the Fire Access Easement. In preparing a Site Plan for the Aloha 1 Development, the Applicant decided to increase the amount of green space and open/recreation space for the tenants, by proposing to eliminate a roadway between Buildings.  This revision necessitated an update of the Fire Access Easement alignment included with the Resolution accepting the easement as sited in the Resolution.  A companion request on this agenda is also the revision of the Conceptual Plan associated with the Aloha 1 Flex Allocation request for this development, since the addition of the greenspace eliminated a roadway. None of these changes affects the number of requested Flex Units, and staff believes that the re-alignment of the Fire Access Easement and provision of open space enhances the design of the Aloha 1 Development.
