Summary Explanation/Background:
The following subrecipients were approved as part of the CDBG Annual Action Plan by the City Commission for the FY 2022-2023 funding year. This project will help provide CDBG funds to various public service activities to the residents of Pompano Beach. The funding will assist with provisions of, among other things, emergency shelter nights for victims of domestic violence and homeless youth; counseling and support groups; transitional support for those seeking to re-enter the workforce, healthcare and education programs, and mentoring/tutoring programs for Pompano Beach youth. The Resolution will approve the required Subrecipient Agreement for the utilization of CDBG Funds. The following non-profits have been awarded CDBG funds in FY 2022-2023:
