Summary Explanation/Background:

The resolution is to approve the agreement with CPR, ETC., Inc. to utilize the City’s Houston/Sworn Aquatic Center and the Pompano Beach Aquatic Center to provide Lifeguard Certification and Water Safety Instruction Courses.

The term of the agreement is for one year.  If the City determines the licensee to be in full compliance and performance to be satisfactory, the City with City Commission approval shall have the option to renew the agreement for an additional two one-year terms.  Licensee compensation to the City shall be $14 an hour for CPR instruction programs, and $83 a day for full-day certification programs.
