Summary Explanation/Background:
Request for Proposal (RFP) No. RFP25-001 was issued to solicit proposals in response to the attached Request for Proposals for Design-Build Services for the Construction of a Parking Garage located at 109 N. Ocean Boulevard (A1A), Pompano Beach, FL 33060, also referred to as the Oceanside Parking Garage (109 N. Ocean Blvd.). The City will initially commit only to the Design and Pre-Construction portion of the proposal, in the amount of $3,037,041.00, until the design phase is completed. Upon the City's approval of the final design (expected early fall FY 2027), the remaining portion of the contract covering construction costs will be contingent upon the City's ability to issue debt upon the completion of the design process. All financing documents will be brought back to the City Commission for approval. WT contract for construction is contingent upon approval and issuance of the debt. See attached memo for additional discussion.
