In accordance with the City Charter / Code of Ordinance, Section 32.46 "Emergency Procurement,” the City Manager authorized issuing an emergency Purchase Order to repair the plumbing in the restrooms at the Mitchell Moore Annex, which began backing up sewage and flooding the building on 8/15/2016. The Public Works Department documented the emergency situation and contacted vendors to obtain the best daily crew rate for the repairs from vendor Gator Plumbing of South Florida, Inc. Purchase Order 163571 was issued 9/27/2016 to Gator Plumbing of South Florida, Inc. in the amount of $25,156.02. City Commission after-the-fact approval is requested.
