(Note for 1st Reading: At the October 10, 2016 City Commission hearing a motion was passed modifying the ordinance. The attached Staff Report explains the modification.) Per direction from the September 27, 2016 City Commission hearing, Staff has prepared a text amendment for §113.40(B)(3) Temporary Holidays Sales Vendors, to increase the sales period for temporary holiday sales of Christmas trees to start the Saturday preceding Thanksgiving. Administrative Memo #16-443 provides additional information. In order to provide Temporary Holiday Sales Vendors with sufficient time to apply for the appropriate holiday approvals, the Second Reading of this item is being heard first.
