Summary Explanation/Background:
In accordance with 287.055 Florida Statutes Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), the City of Pompano Beach (City) jointly issued RLI 26-004 entitled "Continuing Contract for Professional Environmental Testing" on behalf of both the City and CRA to establish continuing contracts for professional architectural services on an as-needed basis, utilizing work authorizations, for projects with construction costs that will not exceed seven million five hundred thousand dollars ($7,500,000.00), and for any study activity fees that shall not exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) as of July 1, 2024 and as adjusted each July 1 thereafter, using the change in the June-to-June Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor. The current continuing contracts for Architectural Services will expire August 2026 and March 2027.
The Selection/Evaluation Committee recommended entering into contracts with the top three (3) ranked firms listed below.

? Terracon Consultants, Inc.
? UES Professional Services, LLC
(formerly Universal Engineering Sciences, LLC)
The contract term will be five (5) years. Upon CRA approval the contracts will be fully executed.
