Summary:                     

The Pompano Citi Centre Residential development, now known as Caroline, was approved by this Committee on May 2, 2021, with a condition that the monument (free-standing) signs return for review and approval. The project consists of a multi-family development, with 356 dwelling units in eight 4-story buildings on a portion of the Pompano Citi Centre Shopping Mall site that was carved out as a 12.1-acre (529,005 square foot) parcel with 26% lot coverage.

The project includes two monument signs: one in the median of the north entrance drive and the other at the northeast corner of the project.

 

The property is approximately in the southwest portion of the Pompano Citi Center Shopping Mall site, which is at the southwest corner of Copans Rd. and North Federal Hwy.

Staff Conditions:

If approved by the Architectural Appearance Committee, the approval will result in a Memo to file, and staff recommends including the following condition:

1.                     A sign Code Compliance Permit must be approved before or concurrently with a building permit for each sign.
