summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

The Applicant, Habitat for Humanity, proposed a new development at the intersection of NW 6th Avenue & NW 15th Street.  The new community proposed 77 single-family homes and a city park.  At that time, the City entered into a developers agreement (Resolution 2017-283) establishing the expectations and timelines for each party (the City and the Developer).  An amendment was approved in 2018 (Resolution 2018-122) related to the utilities maintenance. The new neighborhood is well underway; the park has been constructed, as well as several homes.  The Applicant is requesting to make another amendment to the developer’s agreement to reduce the number of homes to 76, and dedicate an additional lot to the city for another public park (788 NW 14 Street).
