Summary Explanation/Background:
The City of Pompano Beach is preparing to complete its first amendment to the Agreement with Innovative Sculpture Design for a one (1) year period. The orginal Agreement was approved under Resolution # 2025-40 on January 14, 2025. per the Agreement, it was extended for an additional six (6) months. The Agreement extension expires on January 21, 2026. Do to permitting issues, the Agreement will need to be extended for an additional year.
In accordance with Section § 160.04 POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE, the Public Art Committee has the power to make recommendations to the City Commission on art, artist selection and artwork location. The City of Pompano Beach is preparing to complete the Underwater Sculpture Project.
