Title: Proclamation Designating Pompano Beach as Autism Friendly Mayor Hardin recognized Broward County Mayor Lamar Fisher and School Board Member Nora Rupert who were in attendance for the proclamation presentation. He then read the Autism Friendly proclamation in its entirety. Margie Hedelund accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Autism Society of South Florida. Mark Beaudreau, Recreation Programs Administrator announced the upcoming annual Touch-A-Truck event and shared the prior successes of this event. He said he is looking forward to partnering with Fire Rescue and the Police Department this year. Also, the following participants were in attendance for this recognition: Martin Hedelund, Autism Society of South Florida; Fire Chief Chad Brocato and Major Wayne Adkins of the Broward Sheriff's Office.
