Summary Explanation/Background:
The CRA entered into a Lease Agreement with the City of Pompano Beach for the northern half of the City-owned McNab Park Property located at 2250 East Atlantic Boulevard in July 2019 (CRA Resolution 2022-41, City Ordinance 2022-88). This allowed the relocation of the McNab House and Garage from 1750 E. Atlantic Boulevard to the park on March 1, 2020. In order to move forward with a site plan for Phase II of the Conceptual Master Plan and to apply for grant funding, the Lease Agreement must be amended to allow the CRA to lease the remainder of the park. All recreational elements including the tennis court and basketball court will remain as-is until such date that construction commences.
