The Applicant, Miguel Ortiz, on behalf of Sunexus Park LLLP, is requesting the abandonment of a 10-foot wide Utility Easement that is situated on property located on a parcel lying on the northeast corner of NW 9 Avenue and NW 8th Street (with an address of 820 NW 9th Ave). The Applicant is proposing to construct a residential project without being encumbered by the easement. There are no utility assets within the easement. This abandonment request was unanimously recommended for approval at the April 26, 2023 Planning & Zoning Board hearing with two conditions, which have been met.
