Summary Explanation/Background:

The City received a $613,463 CDBG Cares Act entitlement allocation. At this time, OHUI is requesting a resolution ratifying the expedited approval of the CDBG FY 2019 Action Plan Substantial Amendment by the Mayor and City Manager due to the immediate need created by the Covid-19 Emergency. CDBG CARES Act allocation will be used to assist those impacted by COVID-19 with Emergency Rental Assistance, Emergency Mortgage Assistance (Habitat for Humanity Homes), and the expansion of the City’s Senior “Meals on Wheels” Program.
