Summary Explanation/Background:

This item is seeking City Commission approval to execute a Lease Agreement between the City of Pompano Beach and Pompano Aviation III, LLC for Parcel “Y” (approx. 7.10 acres) at the Pompano Beach Air Park. This allows Pompano Aviation III, LLC to secure a long-term lease which enables them to invest at least $3,000,000 to develop Parcel “Y” (immediately east of Sand & Spurs Equestrian Park) in order to provide aeronautical services, to include hangars and tie-downs, to all users and tenants of the Air Park.

 

Origin of request for this action: Air Park

Fiscal impact and source of funding: $6,443.25/monthly in rent payments made to the City.
