Summary Explanation/Background:

The City of Boynton Beach issued a bid for “Sod and Sod Installation” as the lead agency for the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative, on behalf of participating governmental agencies.  Formal approval is required for the City to purchase sod from the awarded vendors from the Boynton Beach cooperative bid #066-2730-16/JMA (vendors listed above.)  The contract is valid through October 31, 2017, with renewal periods possible as stated in the bid specifications.  Based on estimated annual usage and the contract unit prices, estimated annual expenditures for sod may total $60,000.00.  City Commission approval of this contract award is requested.
