Summary Explanation/Background:

This license agreement is between the City and Minority Help, Inc. to host a Brazilian Folk Festival on June 24 and 25, 2017, at the Community Park on the multi-purpose field. This event is a culturally unique fusion of the Brazilian arts, music and dance with hands-on workshops, typical food contests, carnival games, youth soccer clinics, local business exposition and a celebration of the Brazilian cultural heritage.

The agreement authorizes the City to provide $1,704 in in-kind services and the licensee will pay the city $14,375 for BSO and Fire services (Exhibit E).  The event will include a combination of booths, stage, music, dance area, food vendors, soccer clinic, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in a fenced-in, single entrance location as depicted in Exhibit A.
