Summary Explanation/Background:

This is the first amendment to the license agreement with The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation, Inc. to provide a comprehensive reading and life skills reading program for youth registered in one of the City’s After School Programs (Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, Highlands Park, Mitchell/Moore Center and McNair Center).  Children enrolled in an afterschool program at one of the Parks and Recreation locations will have access to this reading program free of charge.   This agreement is the first amendment agreement, which has a term of one year and has an additional two one-year renewals upon City Commission approval.
