Summary Explanation/Background:

On January 13, 2026 by Ordinance #2026-10 the City entered into a new agreement with Circuit Transit Inc. The City has utilized this service 2022, providing year-round point-to-point transportation services to City of Pompano Beach residents, visitors and employees. This service expansion will be instrumental in supporting existing businesses on the barrier island and is expected to reduce some traffic and parking demand in the area.  The service will remain free to riders.

 

Origin of request for this action: Parking Operations

Fiscal impact and source of funding: Increase of $269,803 paid for by Parking Enterprise Fund (472-4710-545-3160).
