Summary:
The applicant requests approval of a Master Sign Program for free-standing signage in an existing multi-tenant building. The Master Sign Program proposes a new Free-Standing/Monument Sign.
The applicant has proposed and understands that this Master Sign Program applies only to the freestanding sign and does not include any other signs. No signs, other than the one freestanding sign, are permitted. If a tenant wants to add a wall sign, blade sign, or any other sign in the future, the site will need to go through the Master Sign Program process again to make the changes.
The proposed sign features a freestanding monument design, with tenant names made from 1/8” acrylic panels inserted into aluminum retainers. The overall monument sign height is 8 feet by 4 feet in width and will be landscaped with 3 feet of landscaping all around. Address numbers, 6” high, will be incorporated into the sign. The plaza name will be placed at the top spot (Taqueria Dona Raquel) with letters to be 7.5” in height. All other tenants will use 6” to 7.5” letters in height; more than one line of text will be allowed. Tenant names are applied in red and green vinyl text. The monument sign is to be illuminated at night with LED lighting, controlled by a sensor (photo cell) and switch, and is to be double-sided. Tenants with trademarked colors may use their brand colors, with prior property owner approval, and must follow the square footage allowances and placement standards as depicted in the example...
