summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

The city has received several grants from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) under the Resilient Florida Grant Program.  To continue working with FDEP on future grant-funded projects, the city needed to develop a list of consultants specifically trained and experienced in doing work on sustainability related projects, particularly those funded by FDEP and the Resilient Florida program.  A Request for Proposal was issued and the Selection Committee selected 8 of the firms that responded to become the list of firms that will be eligible to work with the city on various sustainability related projects for the next three years.  At the time this agenda item was prepared, only 6 of the 8 selected firms had executed the contract to provide future services. Those contracts are attached for Commission approval.  The other two contracts will be brought to Commission for approval as a separate agenda item.

Origin of request for this action: Development Services
