Summary Explanation/Background:
Resolution to approve the City of Pompano Beach 2020 SHIP Affordable Housing Incentive Strategies report. This Resolution accepts the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee’s (AHAC) recommendations following its review of the City’s Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) Incentive strategies previously adopted by the City Commission. These incentives must be reviewed annually so that deletions, additions or revisions can be incorporated into the LHAP and provided to the State. The City’s AHAC worked to create incentive recommendations that enhance the City’s current affordable housing initiatives. The City’s incentives as reflected in its most recent LHAP were reviewed and discussed.
