Summary Explanation/Background:

The License Agreement with the Pompano Piranhas, Inc. allows the Licensee to utilize the City’s Aquatic Center, and if needed the Houston/Sworn Aquatic Center, to provide a year-round competitive, developmental, and instructional youth swim program.    On a quarterly basis, the Licensee will pay the City ten percent (10%) of the revenue from each non-resident participant as compensation for the use of the property.  The term of the agreement is for three (3) years and shall commence upon execution by both parties.  If the City determines the Licensee to be in full compliance, the City Commission shall have the option to renew the agreement for an additional two periods of one year based upon written consent of both parties.

Fiscal impact and source of funding: $9,500 - Estimated Revenue - Licensee will pay the City 10% of revenue for each non-resident participant.
