Summary Explanation/Background:

The City of Pompano Beach is submitting a grant application to the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) Roads for Economic Vitality (REV) program which will award up to $5 M in federal funding for eligible projects.  The City’s submission will be proposed corridor improvements along NE 10th St between Federal Highway and NE 5th Ave to include landscaped median installations to beautify this corridor and serve as traffic calming to reduce speed, as this corridor is used as a destination to Community Park, the Amphitheater, Youth Soccer Park, and Centennial Park.  The application process requires a Resolution of Support to the MPO.
