Summary Explanation/Background:
The Water Supply Facilities Work Plan (WSFWP) Update is required to be updated every five years to the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). The plan studies water use patterns, peak demands and growth projections in the Utility. The WSFWP shows that our Reuse program, Conservation Program, Capital Replacement Plan, Capital Improvement Program and the purchase of 2 million gallons per day of the C-51 reservoir water together provide a plan that meets the water demands through 2040. The Broward County WSFWP shows they will meet their demands to 2040 as well.
